FlowDao is first and foremost the encounter of two worlds:

  • The connection with what makes people, team(s), organizations thrive:
    • The state of Flow* described by Prof. Emeritus Mihaly “Mike” Csikszentmihalyi.
  • The way (Dao**) that people, team, organizations need to find to:
    • Be aligned with their nature, values and purpose
    • Adapt to our fast-changing environment and deal with the ambiguity and complexity it brings
    • Be open minded to:
      • embrace and leverage diversity and collective intelligence
      • nurture constructive relationships
      • envisage other possible subtle influences like intuition and energies

So that people, team and organizations operate at their best being at the same time performant and respectful of themselves, others and their environment. Find the right balancing act, embrace Yin-Yang*** concept.

To achieve this a wide range of well-known technics and tools can be used like assessments (HBDI; Clifton Strengths – Gallup; Hogan), some foundational elements of Lean methodologies, Change Management and tools coming from the Organizational Relationship System Coaching, Neuro Linguistic Programming and Co-development. As well as some ancient technics coming from Chinese wisdom (Bazi, Yi Jing, Qi Men Dun Jia and Feng Shui) that can be referred to as Chinese Metaphysic Arts and are powerful tool for decision-making and personal growth.

FlowDao & Co is our way to live our values:

We believe in collective intelligence, thinking diversity and people’s strengths hence, “& Co” stands for collaboration with external partners whenever and wherever it is relevant.

West meets the East, Business meets People, Rational meets Nature’s mysteries.

* Flow: theory—referring to a state of being in which people become so immersed in the joy of their work or activity “that nothing else seems to matter.” He outlined the theory in his book called Flow: The Psychology of Optimal Experience (while the video is targeting schools and students it applies to us all as humain beings).

**Dao (or Tao) is a Chinese word signifying the “way,” “path.” The Tao can be roughly thought of as the flow of the Universe or as some essence or pattern behind the natural world that keeps the Universe balanced and ordered.

***Yin-Yang is a concept that originated in Chinese philosophy, describing an opposite but interconnected, self-perpetuating cycle. Yin-Yang can be thought of as complementary (rather than opposing) forces that interact to form a dynamic system in which the whole is greater than the assembled parts.
